Coach Kara's Meet Message 6.12

What a great turn out and ending to our first meet of the season! We Won! I am continually impressed by our swimmers remembering to wait for their heat to finish racing before exiting the pool. Some even began giving first bumps to the other swimmers as they finished as well. Keep encouraging this level of sportsmanship in your swimmer(s). Many time drops from many swimmers. We will continue to work on breaststroke and butterfly at practices because these are the harder strokes legally. Starts and underwaters, turns for our 11 and olders, as well as finishes are also a priority when racing.
